Jordan Segal is a New York based artist and curator. Born in Belgium, Jordan moved to NYC where he grew up and still resides. Jordan creates macabre sculptures and paintings, which are inspired by body horror aesthetics, that deal with disease and the body.  His curatorial practice focuses on artists who deal with materials and imagery in a manner that is simultaneously eerie and fun.  As an independent curator he works with many different types of spaces including alternative galleries, apartments galleries, and art fairs.

 

Yasmeen Abdallah is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and independent curator, often working in collaboration with multiple arts, education, and socially-engaged organizations. Her artistic process examines aspects of history, tangibility, materiality, and space. Employing a variety of media, she creates experiential artworks that often invite the viewer to connect with the work in numerous capacities to elevate dialogue and a sense of shared experience amongst viewers and participants. Abdallah’s work is in public, private, and traveling collections and publications in the U.S. and abroad.
